BioI've been reading fanfic for ages, but only started writing it about a year ago. Some of it is hosted on fanfiction.net under my alter ego of secretchild (aka: name created when I was much younger and angstier).
I write solely in the NCIS fandom right now, and stick to gen because that's where my plot bunnies hang out. I love to get into these characters' heads and how they relate to each other, which leads me to wander into h/c, angst, and whump fairly often. I try to keep the humor in there, though. Wouldn't be NCIS without it!
I also tend to write a lot of medical stuff. I'm not a medical professional, but I find it absolutely fascinating and am a complete dork about loving research. Sometimes I'm not sure if I'm writing as an excuse to do research, or doing research as an excuse to write...
I hope you enjoy the bits I've posted here! Feedback is love, constructively critical or otherwise. Unnecessary nastiness will result in a Gibbs slap with something pointy. We're all just here to have fun.
Obligatory disclaimer: I own nothing related to NCIS except for the DVD box sets. I will put all the characters back nicely when I'm done playing. Suing me will net you nothing but a lot of empty diet Coke cans and a cranky cat.
